"Red State" de Kevin Smith, triunfa en Sitges. El festival también ha querido destacar la calidad de " Attack the Block ", de Joe Cornish, que ha recibido el Premio Especial del Jurado. El Premio al Mejor Director ha recaído en el surcoreano Na Hong-jin por "The Yellow Sea".
